is talking to an ex a crime when you have a boyfriend?
because as far as i was concerned, talking to an ex about his illnesses, about work, about money, about other boring things every once in a while is NOT cheating nor suspicious. yet i’m getting the third degree like i’m sneaking around like some sort of tramp.
yeah, whatever, it’s in your “DNA” but i can’t fucking stand unnecessary jealousy. grow up boys.

We are all jealous asshats. Yeah, you do have it right that it is in our DNA, from the dark ages and before. Some of us have evolved past it. Although, being one who got past it, then got cheated on, I will never be able to again. Past haunts us.

Nothing wrong at all! It’s secrecy that can create the problem. If another chooses to be jealous then that is their problem. Sorry to hear your frustration.

dude whaaaat, that’s too much. As long as you communicate I don’t see what the problem is, I’d get it if you were flirting back and forth or something but there’s nothing wrong with remaining friends.

it’s not in our DNA, it’s just that most of us are unfortunately insecure asshats… i’d never give a woman shit for that but then again one of my exes is one of my best friends (though we were friends for a lot longer than we were together)

Definitely not as long as you are open and honest about it.
